girls to be enrolled in School in Somalia in 1953. She
got her teaching Diploma in Bristol in 1966 and in 1970
her Bachelor ( African Studies and Social science at
Boston University). Jawhair is currently one the leading
Somali writers in children literature. She currently
teaches at Ealing schools in London. The Author has
contributed a number of children publications which will
be presented during the book in Boston.

expertise in the accumulation of these relevant

Lecture: by Abdulaziz M. Liban (
Edmonton- Canada) is a poet, former playwright,
Composer, former Editor-in chief of the ( COdka
Macallinka Magazine in Somalia). Mr. Liban will share
with us his poems that he conducted during 1977-1980.
Currently his working on the compilation of his poetry
to be published at the end of this year or the beginning
of next year.

Department African and African-American Studies at
Harvard University. In addition, Idil is a profesional
staff at the University of Massachusetts Boston where
